Phoenix Project #1914
Partners Healthcare had a last-minute project for a Veterans Day ceremony they were holding. They wanted to install a 60’ tall flagpole so they could display a large American flag for all those being honored during the ceremony. The only issue was they had less than a month to pull this off. Fortunately, Phoenix was on the team to install the helical pile foundations required for such a tall structure.
When the work started, we encountered obstructions preventing the helical piles to achieve the required torque. Fortunately, the site contractor (Cavalieri) had equipment nearby and was able to clear the way for Phoenix to install all of the foundation piles in a single day. In the end, the flagpole was erected on time for the Veteran’s Day ceremony.
