Equipment & Capabilities

We operate a fleet of European-style drilling rigs, including Casagrande, Comacchio, and Klemm models — providing flexibility to advance boreholes efficiently in a wide range of geological conditions. Supporting equipment includes:

  • Rotary drilling: Ideal for unconsolidated formations such as glacial till, sands, and silts.
  • DTH hammer drilling: Effective in hard rock formations including granite, basalt, and dense shale.
  • Casing-while-drilling: Used to stabilize upper borehole sections in collapsing soils.
  • Specialty tooling for variable rock formations and overburden obstructions
  • Specialty pumps and grout plants for controlled placement of Thermal grout
  • Specialty looping insertion equipment
  • Spoils management systems (weir tanks, pumps, sediment filtration)

Each project is staffed with experienced Union drillers and laborers with field superintendents who maintain strict compliance with state and local environmental regulations.
